I want to do archery!

Yeah, I need a twenty pound bow. The thirty pound bows killed me. XP
I want to use wooden bows, but sadly we don't have any.

I picked up archery a few years ago, but then stopped for quite a while. I've just started up again, and it's really fun! Unfortunately, there's nowhere near my location where I can learn how to shoot better or enter any competitions. I just have a target in my backyard whereI shoot. I have either a recurve or a longbow. I'm exactly sure of the difference between the two. My bow is wooden, so it is super light and easy to shoot. It's gotten too small for me now, so my dad is thinking of buying me a new one, since we get a good deal from the guy that sold it to us if you turn in your old bow.

That sounds awesome! I want to get my own bow and shoot in my backyard as well, though my mom is afraid I will shoot into someone's backyard by accident/hit someone/ police will randomly come after me. So, no bow for me for quite a while.

You basically have the same situation as me! I haven't been shooting that often, I usually shoot over the summer at camp. There was an Archery Show around where I live, but I didn't get signed up quick enough so I missed it I really should shoot more often, I'm probably rusty.

Yes, we do have a basement... that is filled to the brim with expensive electronics, a projector, a high definition screen, various pieces of art, sofas, lights, a bar, four speakers (for movies), you name it. XD
'Tis not the best place for archery. :3 Maybe I should try the nearby park, but I'm afraid of hitting someone. ^-^; XP

I really want to take archery, I have a homemade bow but I just don't have time. Any tips for archery at home?

Maybe try finding an open space, like your backyard. :3 Do you know how to shoot?

I haven't been able to do archer for awhile, I can't wait for the summer so I can start up again. I have a really nice bow that I got to replace one I got for last years Chirstmas. I used that poor cheap bow until it broke.
