This rendition of the Kyrie Eleison chant is one I find especially restorative. c:

Quick question guys, I just want your opinions, no debates:
Is it wrong not to be a Christian in practice? i.e I don't go to church but am still a Christian etc.

Thanks. :B

I personally don't believe that you have to go to church if you're a Christian. You can worship and pray and praise just fine in your home. There's a tons of reasons why a lot of people choose not to go to church. Some people don't have the money to get to church(gas and such), some people can't find times to go or have to focus on work... there's lots of reasons.

Try making some time for yourself to pray and reflect, then. I think it's an important - you need to keep up your relationship with God, because that's the heart of Christianity.

This is what I do, since I largely can't get out of the house due to disability. But it's good to have a routine. I usually do my prayers before bed, because it's nice to clear my head and get the anxieties off my shoulders and into God's hands. I light my candle, look at my icons, pray quietly after looking through a daily devotional online.

Give it a try, you may find you really like it and your religious life greatly improved. ^^

A solution yo all this? Listen to pyro star.
Another thing for furture ref, dont bring up homosexuality at all here.
People of both sides:

Those who are gay/pro gay

If you ask questions or rant about anti gay Christians, understand there are christinans here who have the same opinion on homosexuality that YOU rant about. And most likely, there going to speek up about, and defend themselves.

This is why I keep my view on homosexuality private now(though pm me if you want to know my stand)

To those who are anti-gay/don't support LGBT

Try and speak less about it. Most of cs is pro gay, so stating you dont support that is kinda not the smartest thing, and sometimes starts flames. If your asked specifically about it, pm that person your view, but don't randomly blurt out your stance.

Hmm. I pray rarely but that's just because I'm still recovering from a really traumatic experience that had happened to me regarding the church and praying, but thankfully I've got God and Jesus on my side and they're helping me. <3

As long as you recognize and accept that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and is the Lord and Savior, then you could consider yourself a Christian.

This is the third and last time I have cleaned up this thread. If you guys can't show respect, the next lock will be permanent.

I urge everyone not to bring up homosexuality as a debate topic anymore. Despite your beliefs, bullying someone over a thing that they cannot choose is highly disrespectful. Someone's sexuality does not affect you, so even if you dislike it, be mature and accept it. Your religion contains a whole lot of topics that can be discussed and talked about, without needing to bring people into this.

Furthermore, please stop with baiting people into reactions by posting something provocative. If your only reason to come into this thread is to start a fight, re-think your choices and leave. It's better for everyone.

Focus on the positive aspects of the thread, I'd say. I hope it stays peaceful now.
