I mean have you ever thought about just how many things you disturb with every move you make? How many things you are alerting to your [or somethings] presence whenever you walk down a street or through a forest?
Certain types of flowers have photosensitive organs that allow them to follow the sun to absorb the most sunlight, when you walk past a flower with this ability, and your shadow falls onto the flower....does something in that flower....register you walking past it because of the sudden decrease in light?
Have you ever thought about that?

Hallelujah. Besides being a nature lover, I am a horticulture student. I understand all that you have said on a spiritual level, and a scientific one.
This has been one of my biggest annoyances for a long time: People think they are more important, more valuable, than anything else on Earth.
But we are not. We are no more important than any other living being, whether plant or creature. We all need each other.
With the world we have created, we need plants and animals more than they need us.
No matter how little a squirrel seems compared to you, take note of it. It has a life, just like you. A simpler life, but still important to that squirrel. The grass grows for you, to make a beautiful lawn, but you never stopped to think why it does this, how it does this. It doesn't seem important. There are too many reasons why grass is important for me to bother listing them here, but grass does serve many purposes. What would your world be like without grass? Without squirrels? Ants, flowers, anything else? It is only once we have lost these things, that we take note of them. It seems to be our way.
