Mmm, so i want to write my story, but it's taking me ages just to ORGANISE the characters. Some I have names for I have not designed yet, vice versa, and some I don't have a pack for yet.

So i was looking at this disorder roleplay on another site, and one of the choices they had was anorexic.
It seems like another chick had taken this role, and on the part where it says, 'Why Did You Choose this Disorder?' she replies with, 'Oh, because anorexic girls are skinny and i would love to be a skinny girl. And besides, i dont want to roleplay a fat girl anyway! lolololololol'

Hmph. Ignorance these days. It's like kids are getting younger and younger, and adults are getting older and older, but the line between "kid" and "adult" is indistinct and uncertain. 25 year olds these days can still be immature and unable to function as an adult would, depending on the individual. Teens and pre-teens are just getting worse.

Go with a memory disorder; they can be tough to deal with, but super interesting to roleplay! 8D Story of my life, man.

It seems as though all the crickets in my neighborhood have congregated in the air vent that lets out in my room. Don't ask me how the heck they got up there the first place, but I hear multiple voices so I know it's not just one. I swear, it sounds like a freaking symphony here of loud, obnoxious crickets. They're all apparently under the impression that I enjoy their constant high-pitched screeching, but I CAN'T SLEEP LIKE THIS! >.>

That was so insensitive of her to say.

The part of this that sickens me the most is that anyone who isn't anorexic - apparently - is fat. They aren't "skinny" - they're malnourished and their body is destroying itself to survive. That is why I don't do disorder roleplays. They take all these serious diseases and disorders and turn them into something just for fun. I completely understand having a character with a disorder and roleplaying them but I'm not big on the whole "disorder roleplay" thing.
I guess what bothers me the most is that people take them so lightly and so often just roleplay what they think the disorder is without getting any actual information on it. I know a lot of people who do have the disorders these roleplays often use and it just really bothers me when people don't even know anything about the disorder they're trying to use.
For example I know a lot of people confuse schizophrenia with multiple personality disorder and people who think that the manic side of bipolar means you are super happy and random and bounce off the walls.
It probably is just because my friends have these things but it just kinda offends me even if I know they're not trying to be offensive. :(
