I hate religion classes so much, I'm atheist yet I still have to sit in them. I used to be allowed do homework but not anymore because it is 'unfair' to the other students. Really my class mates don't mind only the teachers think that :/ They tried to force me to do religion but I had my parents get me out of it, they tried to make me read a bible but I just plain refused. I'm meant to bring in some religious book to study but I'm not doing that. Why should I, I don't believe in that you can't make me. I just spend forty minutes twice a week sitting there in my defiance. I do absolutely nothing, I just stare out the window. It's utterly pointless, I hate this so much.

It seems like every movie now has God's name with the D word in it. Even Iron Man 3 had it. Plus, to make things even worse, Chicken Smoothie allows it! It's so offensive to Christians... So why is it allowed?

because the forums are more or less PG-13. similarly, Iron Man 3 had such a rating, iirc. that's what the ratings are there for. you can use them to pay attention and figure out what will and will not upset you, but as adults - or teenagers, anyway - we are expected to shrug off minor invectives like hell, damn, and crap with little to no irritation, as per the instructions of the admin.

not every character will be a perfect Christian just as not every person you encounter will be a perfect Christian, and the idea of Tony Stark - womanizing, egotistical, playboy drunkard Tony Stark - avoiding the word 'damn' is downright laughable. the point of his character is that he is nearly the exact opposite of wholesome sweetheart Captain America.

being surprised that there's cussin' in an Iron Man film is sort of like being surprised that there are explosions or robots in said Iron Man film, lol

i agree with this wholeheartedly. but that isn't to say you shouldn't respect others' personal wishes-- meaning if someone gets offended by you saying or doing something and tells you that said thing bothers them, don't continue to do it around them, or rub it in their face, talking about how stupid and sensitive they are, like so many people do. :/ i mean, people are allowed to have their own opinions about other people, but sometimes those opinions are best kept to themselves.
