Before you say anything after reading this, let me just know you THAT I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING AGAINST HOMOSEXUALS. In fact, I support them. Yeah.

Earlier this day my guy friend just made me flip my damn tables. I just.... Wow.
So basically what happened is: He was chatting with our girl friend over the phone because she wasn't in school today. She said she was excited because she met a girl who reads fanfics. But....she doesn't like homosexuals.
So then I said something, I don't remember what, and then the guy friend said he "hates" heterosexual couples. I was like "WHAT".
Just to make things clear, they are my almost only friends in school, and he is a homo and she is a bisexual/more homo. And I'm hetero. It's a bit weird, but they're good.
And then he said that our girl friend "hates" them too. Like they can't stand them. I was like ?? and I nearly said something that I'd probably regret because he'd probably start fighting with me.

Okay, excuse me. I know homosexual are fighting for their rights and to be equal with other non-homo people, but I just raged so hard at this situation.
So basically what he said is that he "hates" hetero people, that he can't stand them, that they're not as good as homos.
EXCUSE MY FLIPPING ASS, BUT WHAT IS YOUR DAMN POINT.
HE THINKS HOMOS ARE BETTER PEOPLE AND VERY SPECIAL SNOWFLAKES.
NO NO NO.
This made me so damn angry when I thought of it. Idk does our girl friend think the same, but it was just a sudden realisation that he/they dislike heteros. I thought you were fighting for EQUALITY. Why would be homos treated specially if they're not hetero? Lol no, you got it all wrong.
He just makes me wanna kill myself. So I shouldn't be friends with them if I ever get a boyfriend somehow because they wouldn't stand us and our love?

People. People, people, people. I hope you understand me in this. It's hard typing this out because: a) People might hate me. b) ....I'm on my phone.
I'm gonna remind you that I fully support homos even though I'm a 'normal' hetero girl, but this is not we want. We want equality. What my friend said didn't sound equal to me. Every love is the SAME. Homo love isn't different than hetero love. If he thinks it is, well then.... Don't say you want equality if you think homos deserve something special.
It makes me think we hetero people are "too normal", "boring", "bad".

You know how cute couples can be? All the couples, both hetero and homo. They're all cute, but people think homos are more special or something. Again, that's not equal.
It would really hurt if my girl friend thinks the same. Like, they both ship only homo couples. That guy friend said hetero couples aren't.... Idk, something. Like they aren't special as homo ships.

I don't know how I didn't notice this before. Like, they don't ship anything hetero, ONLY homo and homo. Just homo.
It makes me wonder, y'know, what is exactly going on through people's heads sometimes. I am so sorry for this long rant on this subject, please forgive me. /:
