I had some friends and a few teachers running in the marathon. I'm so glad that they left right before the bomb went off. One of my friends was right at the finish line where the bombs were, but left a few minutes beforehand. My heart goes out to all the people and families who were effected <3
On the other hand, I'm really annoyed at all the people on the internet who think the whole thing was just a hoax. They think everything was just an act, to draw more attention to Boston >.<

That is just horrible. I never understand why these things happen. Whoever did this has a very sick, murderous mind.
I'm back on cs after a long break, and I'm trying to get all the pets I've missed over the past couple years. Trades are appreciated greatly!!

    god, this is so sad.
i never really watch the news, and found out in my social studies class through some cnn morning thing.

:| i'll never understand how cruel some people can be, and how their thoughts have even been prevailed to that depth. it's just horrifying.
if i believed in religion i would pray as much as i could for the people lost and their grieving families. :c

is there any news on who it was that set the bombs?

    >.< that's really, really scary. the fact you could have lost some people you knew, i would never be able to get over the mini-heart attack. even if they didn't get hurt.

and what. a hoax? people these days. like seriously.

Well, there have been reports of someone being taken into custody, and other reports of a suspect, but other than that, nope. :(

It's really sad, in four ways.
They may have not found a suspect.
People died.
People got injured.
Someone actually did that.

I can't believe we live in a world where that can be considered something that isn't common, but isn't unusual, either.

Well, yeah, but he could have been doing something up there that had nothing to do with it, either.
More likely than not, they got someone, because...

It was quite sad.
I have a cousin named Ricardo who lives in Boston. His band is trying to make it to the big time and they often play at the Boston Cafe.
Anyways, he was at the Marathon and close to the finish line.
Thank god nothing happened to him but he saw it all.
I was worried sick about him.

I know someone who was running in the marathon. He was only a mile away from the explosion.

{
what i find extremely frightening is that the bombs were rudimentary and simple,
giving indication that someone in our country was responsible,
and this is not a foreign source but a domestic one.
are we safe anymore in america?

My brother's ex-girlfriend lives there and so do my grandparents friends. I was really worried. Plus, I was there with my family not long ago.
