If the Dragonborn sided with the Dawnguard, the Elder Scroll (Sun) can be sold to Dexion Evicus for 6,000 after completely finishing the main quest. If the Dragonborn sided with the Vampires, it cannot be sold.

Ugh, tell me bout it. My neighbor has 2 mastiffs and his stupid redneck girlfriend brought over 4 little white yapping things that shouldn't be classified as dogs. One of them went missing about a week ago. Gee, i wonder where that went... I bet a mastiff could swallow one of those in a bite.
