I know what "awe" means.
I understand how it fits into "awesome".
But then it's also "awful"?
Yes, you can be in awe of something horrible or disgusting just as soon as you can be awed by brilliance or cuteness, but what about "full" is negative whereas "some" is positive? If it's full of awe, then how is it any different than something that's a "thing of awe"? Shouldn't they basically mean the same thing?
Or is "awful" not even based from "awe", and its only way of defining this is that it lacks the 'e'? Then would it just be based off of "aw", and what does "aw" mean? People use "aw" without the 'e' to respond to a let-down or to something 'cute', but then how does THIS word differenciate its meaning?

awesome can only mean like WOW SO COOL!!11!!111!111!!!!
awful can mean both wow that sucks and WOW SO COOL

I nearly had a heart attack. My baby brother is playing with my mum's IPhone and turned the chat command on and it said "Sorry, I didn't quite hear that." and I thought it was something completely different what I thought it was is really weird, and I don't think anyone will understand it. But wow

Oh my god I remember something that happened when I was younger.

I was in a really weird gas station with my mom and I needed to use the bathroom, so I went inside and shut the door. And I noticed there was a little bath tub in the bathroom with the curtains shut. Being me, I had to open the curtains because shut shower curtains freak me out. So I pulled them back and oh my god.
There, sitting in the bath tub, was a life like, life-sized doll staring right at me. I seriously flipped out, screamed, pulled the door open and ran outside.

I'm laughing so hard oh my gosh looking back that was hilarious
