Dying fake fur is a bad idea since it comes out really gross. I tried it. I got blue hands and nasty patchy blue fur with an awful texture. (I still love my white and black tail with the one wonky stripe.)

Have you ordered fur online? There's one great fur brand I'm totally blanking on but all the big name suit makers use it.

You can also try dying real fur tails from foxes. I've seen beautiful dye jobs even though I'm more a natural tail kind of girl myself.
