A fan is someone who enjoys a fandom. Fans often make art of the series they like, they talk about it, they sometimes write fiction of it... they share it with others and try to promote the series as best they can.

A fan-tard is someone who OBSESSES over a fandom. Fan-tards try to shove their fandom down your throat. They obsess over the fandom until normal fans lose interest, just to get away from the repetitive droning of the fan-tards.

I love this one mainly because it remembers the founder of roleplaying. Gary Gygax passed away in March 2008 and he touched a lot of lives through his games (Dungeons & Dragons, ect). He's responsible for the RPG section of this site.
He's also my role model, even in death.
