TAMW your prof is asking "Any more comments on the text?" And without thinking you're answering "Yeah, did you realize that there is a mistake in the translation? In Latin it's 'lancae' which does not mean lance like the author wrote but in reality is something like a short spear both used for throwing and piercing damage."
And, as you realize that everybody is staring at you, you add: "Well, he should have known, nobody would throw lances anyways, would they?"
And everyone keeps staring and you just realize that it might have been quite a geeky thing to say.

(But honestly, you don't throw lances! Not even if you are a fourth century Goth trying to besiege a city.)

My crush: Nothing hey I have a question

Me: yeah? you can ask me anything

My crush: will you go out with me?

My crush: um are you okay?

Me: Um yes, I just wasn't expecting this

My crush: no it's cool I can ask someone else

Me: no, no, I would love to go out with you

My crush: really?

Me: yes
