Anyone ever written to an actor and...

gotten a reply or an autograph?

I would like to write to an actor that my husband loves and request an autograph. But I don't know if he will even reply. Ive never written to an actor before. Just wondering if anyone else has done it and actually gotten a reply.

In my Marketing class we wrote out letters to several 'celebrities' and some got signed photographs/posters back :3 By celebrities I mean pro dirtbikers, small name celebs, etc... I don't think big name celebs would even have time, with all the mail they must get xD Hopefully that gives you some hope though n_n

In junior high I wrote a letter to Kelly Clarkson and I got a little signed picture. I'm pretty sure it was just a print though..
