Scuba divers?

Does anyone else like to scuba? Ive been certified 3 yrs so far and love it. We usually do 1 big trip a year. Last year we spent 10days in Key Largo and I saw my 1st shark.

my 1st try at skindiving(without a wetsuit). NOT recommended trying when diving near coral reefs. The reefs put off tiny stinging spores at certain times of the year, apparently. Ouchies... You can see a mix of fishfry and spores in the bottom pic. My legs stung for about 12hours after the dive.


This barracuda kept darting in trying to steal a my little pony.
Sadly our trip may be off this year due to the oilspill in the gulf of mexico, have to wait and see thought.

what seaponies did u bring?

I don't remember all the names. The original ones belonged to a friend from the MLP forum. I custom rehaired all the ones I owned. I sold them later on ebay along with original photos and a colorful logbook with all the dive information(water temp, visibility, water depth and length of the dive)

I am not certified, although I would like to be. My sea scout ship is looking into all taking the course together. I have been snorkling before though. It was pretty fun, I got to see a shark and some barricudas.
