The man who read "The Raven" in an audiobook our teacher played had an overly dramatic voice. I like when my friend's teacher reads more. His voice is soothing and poetic.

You're being sarcastic, right...?

Not recognize his work? I'm pretty sure everyone has heard of The Raven even if they haven't read it. Then again I don't know anyone who has gotten through middle school or high-school without being forced to look at his stuff.

If there are under-appreciated poets Edgar Allan Poe definitely isn't one of them. He is one of the most famous.
