I love my friend.
However, it agrivates me that she refuses to contemplate retraining a horse she co-owns because he was formerly abused.
Apparently it's the fault of the people that bad-mouth the horse that he rears and tries to bite and kick them, frequently suceeding
And she doesn't want to retrain because 'he's happy the way he is!'
I have to remember that she's only 14, but even when I was in the exact same situation at a similar age, I acknowledged the horse's faults.
Luckilly, the other owner is an adult. Seeing as my friend is unrational, I can start on the horse's real owner and remind the owner that she has a duty of care to the horse. And if the horse maims someone, then she is held legally responsible.
I'm sorry, B____. I understand your view, but in order to protect this horse from himself, I'm going over your head.

My friend and I couldn't stop watching all the live coverage of the Hurricane Sandy, we just sat in the canteen and watched the news... it made us late to class...

That reminds me, we haven't had a cyclone in my part of Aus for ages! or storms for that matter! Always damn sunny over here...

Oh and people that call cyclones a hurricane or typhoon. No, just no, There is a big difference! One spins clock-wise and the other one doesn't! and... i'm not so sure about typhoons...

Why am I on the subject on weird weather systems?

Lol, it was sad cyclone Iggy didn't make it to the coast. I really wanted to see it, I mean... it was called Iggy!

Oh and Cyclone Yasi was a category 5 cyclone... that was pretty big, poor Queenslanders being battered by both floods and cyclone :c
