Am I the only one who really hates the idea of adopting characters.
Every single one of my characters was designed and developed solely by me, maybe with a few ideas from my friends. They're like a part of me, especially my main character, good God I know her better than I know myself. I love her to death.
Adopting someone else's design just seems so.. impersonal. I mean it's not bad or anything, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with doing it, it just seems so weird to me.
And then adopting characters that are already fully developed and everything, how do you form a bond with a character like that? You didn't have any part in creating the thing. And if you don't have any part of yourself in a character then what's the point? Just for it to sit there and look pretty or?
I don't get it.
I am probably taking characters way too seriously.
I agree somewhat.
Almost all of the characters i RP are OC.
But Glen and Glenda from Seed of Chucky.
Ive RPed those for years. They feel like OCs to me. Ive added a few things in about em, not changing their character of course, But i know how to RP them perfectly now XD
