I hate being called pet names by anyone who isn't my boyfriend. Its disgusting, I have to serve really old, creepy men on the tills at work and when they call me stuff like that I hate it. I broke down once because it bothers me that much, personally people should respect that people don't always like being called these names, especially by complete strangers. I actually asked my manager is I was allowed to request customers called me by my name, I mean an 80 year old man calling me babe is horrifying, it terrified me. I had to have the security guard with me as it made me that uncomfortable.
