What do you look for in a pet site?

I'm just curious what about a pet site do you like? What sort of things make you want to stay? What kind of features do you look for?

I like simple layouts and collectible pets or items (ie. pets that will eventually be rare or are hard to get). I don't like it when the sites are filled with so much stuff the page loads slow, simple is better for me. D;

I generally prefer small communities, everyone is more friendly. But I also like sites where you can meet most of your goals without interacting on the forums if you don't want to. If the staff participate in the forums, that's always a plus too. Good art is also important.

Good art, Breeding is a plus, but not a necessity, Nice community, VERY active fourms is lovely (I love listning to other people hardships and helping them)

I like breeding sites, collectable pets, but if I have to pay anything to play or even have a descent time of it then I'm not interested. If the paying is wholly optional & does not affect game play, I'm good. However I hate things where they die or run away if you can't visit them daily or have to care for them constantly. Sometimes I can only get on once a week or once a month. Friendly community, but also there can't be petty mods or stupid, nonsensical rules. That irks me.
