My friends keep telling me how odd it is that my parents didn't let me watch certain shows when I was younger, and yet, I came out more brilliant and with a better imagination than them. But they can't seem to help but think that I'm the screwed up one for not being allowed to watch Teletubbies or Spongebob. Please tell me I'm not the only one seeing an issue with this.

Apparently, my parents only limiting me and my older brother to intelligent kids' shows is bad parenting on their part. I mean, heaven forbid they not let me watch a Spanglish TV show when we live in the United States of America. Oh, and what horrendous parents they are for not letting me watch a TV show with skimpily dressed female superheros that were so incredibly stereotypical.

No, watching Zoboomafoo and the Kratt Brothers and Between the Lions was so torturous to me and my older brother. I mean, just look how we turned out, freaking brilliant with a significant love for books and creativity. Yes, very bad of you parents.

God, how screwed up my generation is.

Well first of all, you could have worded that much nicer. May I suggest the usage of the words conceited, egotistical, or self-centered? Second, I fully realize I'm conceited. I accepted that fact a long time ago, and there's no point in pretending otherwise, so there's also no point in pointing it out.

I swam eight lengths total at this meet today. 100 free, 50 fly and 50 back. Tomorrow I have to swim 100 fly, 100 IM medley, and 50 breast.

I'm very sore right now and I'm going to be even more sore by tomorrow night.

And my friend C isn't going tomorrow, and neither is my friend H. And I don't really know anyone else on the team other then those two, and I don't know if K is swimming at all because I didn't see her today.

TOMORROW'S SWIM MEET IS GOING TO SUCK FOR ME.
