It's not a big deal. Your eyes might be a little dry in the morning, but I think that that's pretty much it. I sometimes sleep with my contacts in weeks on end. The fact that contacts are gentle enough for you to put on your eyeballs in the first place means that they won't do too much damage. It'll just be like staying up with 24 hours while keeping your contacts in.

I never ever ever sleep in my contacts...
My mom said they'll dry up in your eye or rip up and you'll have little pieces in your eyeball.
I also never wear mine for longer than two or three weeks (I take them out every night) because the eye doctor says they could start to rip and it'll irritate your eye.

That happened to me today actually. My contact mustve had a tiny tear in it and it was irritating my eye all. Day. Long. And once fifth period came, I rubbed my eye in the friggin thing ripped in half.
I was half blind for the rest of the day and my eye was all watery and red and everyone kept asking "why I was crying."
It was my last pair of contacts too e.e
but my mom went and got me another pair and we'll order some more boxes soon

This is really fun but a lot of them are misleading, even if this stuff won't happen if you fall asleep in them once.

nothing. absolutely nothing. I've had so many different brands and none of the medical bullcrap happened. Sometimes they might fall out and your eyes will be dry in the morning- blink a lot or put in eye drops. But maybe switch to Night and Day contacts. you can have them in for 1-2 months straight. never need to take them out unless they are irritating you. i have them now, they are fantastic!!!
