Most of the video isn't even sad.

However, the old man who's wife died is terribly sad. 3: He looks so pained. He alone made me all sniffly. Dx

I don't relate to the 'for our troops 8D' thing at all though (Canadians + army = 2)
But I love the story of the song anyway <3 So sad. I cried when I heard it for the first times.
