probs because people post "I sat down." and post so often that it always stays on the front page
it's probably because things move a lot faster, and it's harder to lose interest and have people stop roleplaying.
when i used to roleplay i was considered 'literate' level [which the whole illit-semilit-lit thing is bull but anyway] but now when i roleplay with my partners, we switch between paragraph rps when we feel artsy, and mini rps [stuff like '-he looks over to bruce- what are you looking at?'] which keeps things fast paced and moving.

it helps fight against writer's block, and keeps people from feeling super overwhelmed.
