I can see a whole lot of hypocrisy here.. X3

So what if your fursona was made in a competition? A lot of people had theirs made by others and they came out perfectly. Who are you to judge that their fursona is WRONG because someone else made it? Maybe their fursona was designed by someone else. And maybe they really clicked with it like someone who designed their own doesn't. I've had tons of fursonas that I designed myself that aren't nearly as personal as some peoples' fursonas that are designed by someone else.

No one knows you better than you.

Personally, I think the whole fursona ranters thing is a bit off. Most people don't even care if their so-called fursona doesn't match with themselves, they just want something to "cool" call their own. Or they think a fursona is just some exalted character.

So?

If they don't care, then they probably aren't going to start caring any time soon. What do we get out of roughly a rant per week coming through the general board? Even when there was that gigantic set of rants a few months ago half the people who went "OOH YUZ R STINKY CUZ UR FURSONAS GOT A RAINBOW" didn't have very deep and meaningful fursonas themselves. Heck, even a few of the big ranters had fursonas that shifted every month of had almost nothing to do with themselves DX

I'd rather create my own fursona as I have. Even though she is just a white wolf with black ears I have stuck to her as my fursona for about 4 years. I sometimes adopt characters and such but most of my characters have been created by me. I find it somewhat better when you make them yourself

I dont think it's a good idea to start a competition for a fursona.. I mean, it must present YOU . and who else know you as good as you know yourself?
