What's the stupidest question you have ever been asked?

I've been asked a lot of stupid questions.

"Where do Siberian tigers come from?"

While my dog was growling, someone asked me, "Can I pet your dog?"

"Can you help me with my Spanish homework?"
I got that because I'm part Mexican. Didn't even ask if I could speak Spanish... I can't, but I did their homework anyway and the very few things I know in Spanish are nonsense and not very nice things. They thought it looked good and turned it in. They got in trouble.

"Are you and your brother identical twins?"
Okay, we were in the same class so if they had said just twins, this wouldn't be so dumb, but come on! I'm a chick! Of course we're not identical!

"How can you know the earth is 4.5 billion years old?"
This came after explaining radiometric dating. Otherwise, I suppose that's a perfectly legitimate question, but not after I just explained it.

Just because you're a certain nationality, DOES NOT mean you can speak the language.

Just because you're a certain nationality, DOES NOT mean you can speak the language.

That's one of the reasons I never took Spanish - didn't feel like living up to people's expectations. Took German instead, and then everyone thought I was really good at it. "Hey look! The Mexican kid can speak German!"
Which sadly was the reaction I sorta got in high school over that. Even from adults though, they seem to think it's oh so very odd and strange that I can speak German. And then I'm glad that I took German, because I can yell random things in German and it sounds like I'm mad at them. And I'm left alone.

general responce to said question:
"Where you can't get it."

ugh. i hate it when people ask that question.

One day my family went to the local pool and we invited are friend who lives next-to-us over.(She said yes.
So when we went to the Pool some lady walked up to use and said"Ohhh what beautiful tripletes you have.'
