I've always loved both astronomy and oceanography, and since stars seem to shimmer, and the light glistening on the sparkling waves of the ocean/bodies of water also shimmers, this is why my username is ~Shimmer~. ^-^

My username was orignaly .:North Carolina:. before my "sis" came on and North Carolina is my Hetalia OC I pose as on almost every site. That's unfortunely that same with VA or Virginia.

((Up until literally now, and for the longest time, I've used peperklip119... and that one actually has meaning... It came to me when I was thinking up my deviantart username... 'paperclip' was the coolest sounding thing that I could think of that actually had some slight relation to me... you know, like, not using a cool, but emo-sounding name... because I'm most definitely not dark... if that makes sense... Anyway... I also had a slight interest in paperclips at the time, as I liked to bend and morph the ones I found laying around. Unfortunately, both 'paperclip' and 'paperklip' were taken and I really didn't feel like making it plural with an 's' or 'z', so I decided to add numbers... the numbers coordinating with my birth month and birthday-January nineteenth. It's currently probably the best thing I've ever thought of, so it sort of stuck for everything... until it started feeling kind of out-of-place and dull in comparison to the other CS usernames that I was seeing... and I kind of wanted an excuse to use the 'fancy symbols' or whatever they're called!))

KC Twist is what I want to name my horse's foal when I breed her. Her name is Twist N' Chick, but her barn name is Cassie, and my name's Kyra, so there's the KC. The <3 is just a random heart, and the 2 is an inside joke in a fan club, as I am the second of 3 main Harry lovers in the fanclub.
