I hate my Science teacher.
I wanted to be in the top group. They get to go to Switzerland, and visit the big science lab where they make particles. I really wanted to go, as I want to do Science for a career and everything.
My teacher said that I stood a high chance of getting in, as long as my marks were high in tests. I did so much extra work to try and get in. I was getting in the 90's in the tests.
And today she came over to where I sit. It's near the really brainy people who are no doubt getting in the top group. She then started talking to us about it, like "You guys all got in the top group. It'll be so cool, and you'll enjoy it, and all your results are predicted really high blah blah blah."
I was all happy, and said something about going to Switzerland, and she just turned to me like "Oh, you're not in the top group, and your results aren't quite predicted at A. So you won't get to go to Switzerland, but I don't think you'll be too bothered. It's not like you want to do Science as a career."
I wanted to slap her. To just go on about it, right in my face like that.
And she knew I wanted to do Science as a career. I told her. And I had told her about how I wanted to go to Switzerland.
And what makes it even more ironic is that the annoying girl, who gets around 40% in all her tests and failed her Science exam, gets put in the top group because she's dyslexic and they wanted to open up her scientific opportunities.
For gods sake, she doesn't even like Science. She just plays around on her laptop (because he gets one) and goes on Facebook and the Sims.
But apparently that's alright because she's "expressing herself"
