Once I heard my sister giggling and laughing with what sounded like a little boy, I walk quietly outside her room when I see the outline of a boy around 5 years old and he wore a flannel shirt with jeans he turns looking at me smiling brightly he whispers "hi, Aunt" I almost screamed I've never met this little boy he looked line he was from the civil war era I turn around and there's a man with shaggy blond hair he tips his cowboy hat smirking he says "ma'am."

I've been seeing them since
And oohhh there's too many people
There's too many people
That walk alone

@Hattress: It's possible depending on the area you live in that you have civil war victims living in the house, due to the impact of the civil war typically spirits from that time era seem to stick more then others from other time periods. There was just so much energy it sticks to the spot like glue :3 They really aren't much to worry about as they most of the time aren't there by choice.

I hope that doesn't happen. That shouldn't ever happen to anyone >.>

Yeah, it is possible for that area to have some spiritual damage, bodies of water like lakes and rivers sometimes can attract spirits due to the need of the resource of water during their lifetime, then after they die they tend to stick around.

A friend and I were visiting Kentucky for the Breyer Fest, and we rented a hotel room, and one night we were up late watching Ghost Hunters, and then suddenly something thumped in the bathroom. My friend sent me in there to investigate, and the shampoo bottle had fallen into the tub. But the weird thing is that it was one of those tiny cheap ones at the hotels and it was on a little holder with rails. It freaked us out so much!

My most recent one was my dog Lulu was growling and I turned over to tell her to shut up and there was a shadow figure standing beside my bed. Stared at it for a few seconds then turned over and tried to just ignore the fact it was there.

@Hatress: Regular habits such as the lady baking typically can lead to residual energy, the smelling of cookies its not a real spirit its her past :)

@: Oak: I don't like hotels for that reason a lot of people come through them with a lot of them leave energy behind and can become shells of spirits. They can be mischievous and cause problems. It wasn't much though it seems so thats always nice. :3

@Riko: Most of the time ignoring the spirit can signal that you want them to go away so good job :3

Er mah gerd! I live in Kentucky, and I know what you're talking about ^^
standing in the eye of the storm, my eyes start to roll to the curl of your lips,
in the center of eclipse, in total darkness i, i reach out and touch

my mind's gone a racing on a horse that's escaping
and I'm ready to jump, yeah I'm ready to swim

life is chances that are taken but nothing's ever broken
they're just pieces on the ground, new hands need to build them
