i had quite a few paranormal experiences when i lived in my extremelyyy old house. ^_^

when i was very young, like 1-4 years old, i kept on mentioning somebody named "bim" and acting as if he was literally, in the room with my family. my parents thought he was just an imaginary friend or something but he turned out to be a ghost. they figured that out when it was spring cleaning and my sister moved the fridge to clean behind it, and found an old picture of a young girl (that looked exactly like i did when i was young) sitting on an old man's lap on our front porch. my sister called everybody over like "who is this guy that has maggie on his lap?" and i toddled over, looked at the picture and said "oh, that's bim," and walked off.

well evidentally "bim" (who's real name was Bill) was the former house owner's brother who died in the house in his 80's. and the girl on his lap was his granddaughter, who just so happened to look identical to me. x3 that was my biggest paranormal experience in that house.

over the years my sisters and mum also saw things, but they weren't really friendly old men. my mom and two of my sisters all saw some creepy, tall man in a top hat walking around the house on multiple occasions. one of my sisters even found him in her closet once!

and the moral of these memories are: never move into a 100+ year old house that multiple people have died in. LOL.

persoanly I loved the 'moral of the story', but
do you have any idea why the top hat guy was in the closet?
I think clossets are creepy anyway,
so just wondering if you knew more about him and why he may have appeared there.
Preparing to quit
I will try to check for messages occasionally before I do
but I might not be able to reply immediately.

I had the same experience.. Except no picture.
Back before we moved here, we lived in a house made in '62. Apparently {as in I found out today X3}, I had an "imaginary friend". But, the people that lived there before we moved there, they had a daughter {I believe you know where this is going X3}. We had a pool in our huge backyard {notice had}, which is currently filled with dirt. My mom told me that maybe their *young* daughter died {drowned} in the pool and was covered up. Now, we believe that she was the girl I was talking to, instead of an "imaginary friend". My mom says that her name started with an "A'', and it was unique, like an old-fashioned name. If maybe you can find a name {or names} that might be hers, please tell me!

The other night, I opened the door to let my dogs in from outside. I looked over at my garage where my dogs like to hang out, but I saw a clear figure, as though the real shadow of a man was there. It looked far too tall and extremely skinny to be me, so I put my hand on my head and wiggled my fingers (an old joke with my family) and noticed my shadow elsewhere. After my dogs came in i slammed the door shut and deadbolted it. Then I decided it was time to hit the bed, because it was already like midnight. So I lie down and there became a knocking outside my room, sounding like it was on the window. The knocking has been repeating and growing for the past few days.
