Annoyance ;
I dropped my laptop.

And while I was chopping an apple, a slice fell on the floor.
I stared for about three seconds, threw my hands in the air, and yelled,
"NOOOOOOOOOOOO! NO, WHY?? WHYYY?"

Meh, wolves are cool, wolfaboos are idiots.
It's not the animals themselves that people dislike, it's just the way people idolize them that annoys people. I'd be pretty sad to see wolves go extinct, but the fact that people value them above all else upsets me. Gray wolves are not endangered. There are endanged subspecies, but they are not an endangered species.
They are animals that feast on rotting meat and who will hunt down and kill whatever they can find. They pee to mark their territory, and they kick their children out of their families when they feel threatened. Their howls sound pretty, but they're pretty much the wolf equivalent of "marco polo."
Point is, they're animals. Interesting animals worth preserving, but animals nonetheless. It annoys the crap out of me that they get this much attention from both haters and wolfaboos alike, when they're really not that special. They're hunted, yes, but not in as massive numbers as before.
Want a cool animal that's misunderstood and persecuted by humans? Try Sharks. How about mountain zebras? Oh, they're not as majestic? Some animal lover you are.

I just don't understand how people say they "love all animals' but make no effort to raise any amount of awareness for anyone else but the wolf. Go raise a bit of awareness for the okapi or the pere david's deer and you'll have my respect.

you know, i have to say, wolves aren't my favorite ever animal. I find the maned fox (maned wolf) very interesting, and same with hyena's. I also love the sugar gliders, same with foxes, i feel for every animal. The only animal i dislike? None.
