I tried ordering a Fursona, I filled out the form and everything, followed all the rules to the letter, except I don't have a Ref because nobody else will make my Fursona!!!!!! GAHHHHHHHH!

Now this artist won't help me out to GET a Ref.

Getting sick of people (Not just one person in particular, at all) cancelling their contests because there aren't enough entries/whatever reason.

Especially when all the entries currently submitted are amazing quality.

Saying you'll "compensate" them isn't enough.

I don't enter art contests, so I don't think I'm biased on the matter.

It just annoys me.

It's becuase otherwise we have no idea what we are drawing, written references are vague and whenever I do it by written references I get people tweaking and tweaking and tweaking. It gets painful, with a drawn ref you KNOW what people want.

Even if you have a go at drawing something it will be a start.

I can't draw to save my life, and the written Ref was three paragraphs long, with color refs, expression refs, and shape refs. I just didn't have one single Ref for the whole thing..
