That's what I named one of my kittens since someone put up a sign that said "Free Kittnes" and they misspelled kittens so the name stuck.

I was talking to my friend of three years, and she showed me a picture of her ex. When I told her he was cute, but my interests lay elsewhere, she asked who. I had to fake I was leaving with my mother, and set her on my "offline" list, so that she couldn't see I was still on. I couldn't tell her I was dating a girl -- especially because she's huge on church and the fact that loving someone of the same gender is a "sin". And that she is a homophobe.
It makes me sad, seeing as I have to hide who I really am to keep my friends.

Does it really matter that I, a girl, am in love with another girl? Does it, really? If I'm happy, and she keeps my depression away, and keeps me from physically harming myself and others, is it really a sin? I have a future ahead of me -- and I hope it's a happy one. I plan to get married, be happy, have a good job, and raise a family -- whether the children be adopted or not.
I want to be happy, and I want to be accepted for who I am, not have to hide who I am.
