My team is SUPPOSED to lift but there are often only a few girls. The coach wants me to lift this year and has a whole bunch of expectations for me this season, including breaking five minutes in the mile and running 2:17 in the 800. I'm starting running twice a day soon and I hope all goes well.
I ran at my first all-comers of the season and ran a 5:39 in the mile (which is much faster than last year's pre-season time) but I have much to improve. I'm also running my first half marathon on Sunday, which I'm very excited about but I'm going to take it easy, since I don't want to get injured.
