Can't believe I found this thread! Anyways, I used to do cross country but not any more. I can no longer do distance. I sprint! I have done track since I was 4! This summer I learned how to pole vault! Let me say its the best! I love it!

EDiT: Oh yeah! I'm going to the junior Olympics(state meet) on Saturday for pole vault, high jump, triple jump!

Yes! I got 6 feet in pole vault yesterday. I also was scared to death when i jumped i didn't push the pole enough and so i was perfectly balenced at the top. Then i just kinda slid down. It was scary! And on one of my other jumps when i landed i sliped down the mat and almost fell in the box! Lol  It's my first year though so...

I did XC last school year, I'm taking a break from it for this one, but I'll probably be doing it again next year. I had a ton of fun. The furthest that I've run for practice would be somewhere around 5 miles.

I'm joining the running team at my new school in the fall, wish me luck. ^^ I'm only doing XC I think. I'm already running on the team as practice. I'm very excited to start in the fall, but a little scared! My sister was on the running team when she went to the school I'm going to, but she graduated haha. :P
