- There's something that's bothering me.
My crush and a small group of our friends like to walk down to a general store after a day playing sports. This week, he had forgotten his money. Since he was asking if anybody could lend him a dollar (we're all a very closely knit group and he's extremely trustworthy), I offered to lend him the money. He seemed grateful at first. Later, though, at the store, I was passing by when he was talking to his friend, seeing if he could borrow a dollar from him. This was before I lent him anything. Anyways, his friend said, "No, you'll have to borrow it from her." By her, I was the only possible person. I was the only one who brought extra money, and there are only two girls. Then my crush whispered a frustrated, "No!"
I didn't mean to eavesdrop or anything; I was just passing by. Do any of you think the "no" meant anything, good or bad? Or am I simply overthinking? Any guys that could help me out? Thanks.
