Crushes, Boyfriends and Girlfriends | V3

There's a kid in my class named Jacob. Cullen is his friend. Cullen and I have spoken a few times.
But Cullen just sent me this on Facebook about Jacob:

"Well, he has been begging me to help him get a date to the prom and he really wants you to go with him, he's just a little shy though so he wants me to ask you for him, he said his dad will buy both of y'alls tickets but, if he doesn't get a date, then he can't go, so, will you please go with him, it would mean the world to him.
It's fine if you don't want to, I can find someone else, I told him that you might say no or you may already have a date and he said ok, he told me to still ask you though and if you said no then we could ask someone else"

Don't get me wrong; I'm actually really flattered.
But I would just not like to go with Jacob... I'm not attracted to him at all. I'm not trying to be mean at all...
But I've made pros and cons to each situation:

Pros of going: This is his last chance for prom and it would be great to make him happy
Cons of going: I'm really awkward and would NOT like to dance. What if he wants to? Also, I'll have to buy my ticket (I'm responsible enough to buy everything myself) and the problem is... I have laptop payments. $110 a month. I don't have the money for a ticket, AND a dress, AND the payments.

Pros of not going: Save myself from awkwardness and saving my money
Cons of not going: The poor boy... I know they can get someone else to go... But whose to say another girl will say yes? I will be the reason for him not being able to go

I just... I really don't want to go with him. But I don't want to seem mean, at all! I don't know what to say....
I don't want to have to be brutally honest and I don't want to make up some lame excuse.
What do you guys honestly think I should do?

So I need a bit help here. How can I make someone text me first? We usually text a lot, talk, all that. But I've waited four days (two days at a time) waiting for him to text me first. I really want to talk to him sometimes and he's never texted me first yet. But I'm always the one to text first. Helpith :S

That's the same thing with me and 16 XD Sometimes he texts me first but now a days he doesn't :c Does he text you at all when you text first? If not, you could ask "Why arn't you texting me?" Not in an angry tone, just in a friendly/humerus voice c:

I wouldn't say 'why aren't you texting me' because it's hard to have any sort of tone of voice in texting, but maybe wait several days (more than 2, like 4 or more) and then ask something like "Whatcha been up to? You've been quiet " Just something simple, playful even. NOT accusing or anything.

But yes, my general attitude is to start by waiting a decent length of time to see if they even notice, then finally give in and ask in an innocent way.

I cant understand L at all
we had dance today and we were learning waltz and quick step
and i was paired up with a guy i hate and he was paired up with a girl he hates
so in like the middle of learning the dance we pass each other,
and i ask "hey do you wanna switch"
because we obviously wanted to
he didnt mind dancing with me at all
he was actually really good and focused when we were
other girls he's always sighing and saying eww to himself, but not me which
i find suspicious and weird :/ dont you think?
then when we had to learn this weird move for the waltz, i asked if he wanted to switch again
with me and he did. now for the weird part, i dont understand this really
since we couldnt get the move right, i would let go and started laughing a little
and he would keep saying lets try it again and taking my hand with his; like what?
Im not sure he said he didnt want the teacher to get mad at us but he didnt really seem like it
with other people he would slack off and not care, but with me its different WAYY
different. Like he's so into it, he would say sarcastic things like"haha that was great"
when we did or i did something wrong XD
also like on wednesday, sometimes i would like have to pretend
to be a guy since there are not enough girls for each guy
and yet L was somehow partnered up with the girl he hates
so he says"NO you are switching now" to me because he'd rather be partnered up
with me since i was like right there
it was really funny, he is really funny, but selfish at bit...

Hey Perfy, nice to see some fellow Directioners here. Now, I'm going to give you the best advice I can, although I've never experienced this kind of thing. :)
First of all, I would say that either he likes you, or he just prefers you over any other girl. Maybe you should ask him after your dance classes why he wants to dance with you every time. I know, this is probably horrible advice, but it's truly the best I can come up with. Hope this helps you some!

at lunch me my friend and M were playing volleyball and L was there with his
friend. He spiked a volleyball right at my arm, and it really hurt and was all like"Sorry!"

So, I'm rather stuck on something. See, this guy I like/likes me; I've been trying to hook us up, I guess, for lack of better words, but I'm stuck. I sent him a text, bringing the subject of us being together up, and he REFUSES to answer me, though he obviously likes me (At school today we were walking together after the one class we have together, and he grabbed me and held me tight and walked to the next hallway with me like that, holding my hands and laughing and such. So, why the heck won't he answer me? My friend told me that the guy I like, J, said he wasn't going to bring it up unless I did, and now that I did, he hasn't answered me, and it's been nearly three hours. Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but I really, really like him... he was my first friend here, and showed me the way around the school and how to find guitar class and I'm going to teach him how to play ukulele... I really like him. What do I do, though, if he doesn't answer me?

He may have a good reason for not answering, such as his phone dying. Try talking about it at school or something, where he kinda has to answer you. Hope this helps!

I am starting to feel like I have a crush on this guy J. My friends tell me that he has a crush on me but he's never actually said that.... I'm not one of those people that can just walk up to someone and ask them if they like me. I text him every day after school and he texts me until he has to go to sleep... He apologizes for every little thing. I feel like I'm annoying him since I'm the one that starts text convos, but I asked him and he said of course I didn't annoy him... I don't have J in any of my classes this year, or my lunch hour . I only see him between his 6th and 7th hour and I talk to him then but for like less than a minute. J was in my English last year and the teacher tried to get us to go out, and she'd ask me if he asked me out yet before class... I wish he would... Idk I guess I'm kinda just rambling but if any help/advice, you can pm me or post it here... My friend needs help. She's liked this guy for maybe around a year now. Let's call him M. You see, M is really, really popular and a lot of girls are in love with him. The other day M was talking to my friend after school when he asked her "Can I have a hug?" and he hugged her. But he hugs probably 10 different girls everyday. Now she won't stop thinking about him. What should she do?

Hey guys! Crimson here!
Alright so I know many of you don't know me and I haven't been here long but I could really use some help.
So Saturday I had my little brothers birthday party and I invited my boyfriend of a month but he couldn't come. Well halfway through the party an unexpected guest showed up. We shall call him D. See now D has been my hearts love for 2 years now and we used to date but that ended when I had to move. Needless to say I've been confused all weekend because he showed up and I haven't seen him in almost a year.
I can't decide if this is a test for me sent by god or if he's trying to tell me my current boyfriend isn't the one for me.... any sugestions?
