So my sarcasm gets me into trouble sometimes when it comes to guys. >_< With the way I use it, the guys all think I'm flirting with them, but I really am not. That's just the normal way I act which in my opinion, is not flirty. It's more like a banter. I would say something, he would reply, and I would try to top that. And so on. I don't know how they see it as me flirting because that's how I act 24/7. .___. There have been instances where the guy goes: "If I didn't know better, I'd think you are flirting with me" or "Are you flirting with me". Of course none is said in a negative way. All said in a.... I don't know.... sly/coy way? I don't know what to do. Sarcasm is my instinct. Telling me to stop or change is like telling me to stop being myself or change myself.

...Banter and flirting are essentially the same thing.

I also advice reading the advice on the front page. you can sort of backwards apply the tips on how to tell if a girl likes you and make sure you don't do those. :) In fact, some (and most) of the ways to tell if a guy likes you can also be applied to girls, so try and double it and make sure you don't do any of those either. Okay I need some help, ilike this guy. Lets call him E. I just meat him this year as for me being a freashman and thus I belive is his second year thereat thehight school. But all ready I have compition... and her being much more prettyer then me I have no clue how to get rid of her and go out with him... But tomorow I still have to go to school wthh my little cold I have here but I was thinking of justsaying to E. If you just started your school year (basically if you're from US or Europe, etc), then 'just meeting him this year' means you just met him within the last month, right? I would definitely say that's too soon to try to 'fake' slipping an arm around his waist. If I were him, I'd be rather weirded out - it's just very forward and fast.

The leaning thing - not so bad. And conversation is good. Don't just jump into trying to be physical with him, to me that makes you sound desperate.

Just start with little conversations sometimes - does he know your name, for example. Does he ever start conversations with YOU, or is it you always clinging to him? Try to be aware of his reactions so you don't assume he likes you back.

I ask people out with the fear of being rejected also. I liked a guy for AGES;asked him out twice. Rejected me both times. If he rejects u then he's not the right guy for you, me and my old crush are better off as friends anyway.

And I need advice, one piece for me and one for my friend.

So school's back and the guy I used to like on my bus? Crush finally faded. Yay! I guess just seeing him again the crush faded. And he cut his hair. I guess I only like hid hair. Oops :x

And now ... new crush. Well it's still too early to tell if it's a crush or not. On my bus as well. That's the only time I see him. Well, except occasionally in the halls but I always look away. I've talked to him before and I did today as well. He's one of the only guys I feel comfortable talking too. Also, he seems to get along with my closer friend [which is good since my friends hated the other] all three of us chat a bit on the bus. and he's attractive. and has nice hair. I hope I don't only like his hair. Let's see how this one plays out.
