Stories. Poems are hard. I hate writing either way though. If I had to write a free-write story, it'd probably be something very random. In class one time, we had to do a free-write that had something to do with the leap year, so this was the plot of my story: I was hungry, so I went to make a peanut-butter sandwich (totally ignoring the turkey dinner on my table) I hadn't eaten in 3 day (except for the gasoline in my car) so I went and jacked some peanut butter from the local supermarket. (cuz I had no money) but then the cashier cursed me that when I finished my peanut butter, I would have no more until the next year. So, totally ignoring the turkey dinner on my table, I made myself a peanut butter sandwich. Then something happened (can't remember) so I called up a friend to see if I could eat their maple syrup. but their polar bear spilled it all, so he was gonna go into town to buy some, so I asked if he could pick me up, cuz I drank all the gas that was in my car, and I was still hungry (Totally ignoring the turkey dinner on my table that was now cold.) that was all, but my original plan was that after, my friend was gonna buy me a lottery ticket and i'd win, so I'd fly to mexico, but since I didn't speak spanish, when I converted my money, I would get totally ripped off. But that was okay cuz then I won the Mexican lottery, so, since I didn't speak spanish, I hired a tutor to teach me, but it turned out to be a dentist. So I flew home. (And by that time my turkey dinner was stone cold and moldy, so I finally ate it) The End.
I actually kinda liked that story. Too bad the teacher never gave our stories back. But stories, reading or writing, either way, I prefer stories.
