Currently learning to play Megalovania.

I joined marching band this year and it's honestly the best thing that I ever did. Now I'm obsessed with DCI and am plotting to go watch finals in person next year or the year after that.

omg i just finished my second year of marching band this year, and i also have so much love for it. ive also learned to appreciate DCI so much! does your school compete?

We compete in ISSMA! Unfortunately not big enough to go to BOA :'( And when this year's senior class graduates they're taking 30 marching band members with them so we might even go down a class!

I play Viola, but I don't think I'm fit for orchestra. For one, MY teacher HATES me. #2, I'm deathly scared of tuning! When a string is out of tune, I'm so scared, I have that fear of getting hit by a popped string. Once, my A string went out of tube really quick, and the teacher starter to tune, the sound and the pure fear drove me to race across the room and hide behind a stand, shaking. She looked at me like I was a drama queen, I know was slightly being a drama queen... Every time we tune, I'll start to shake, my knuckles turn white due to me clutching my chair. And the sound. I'd think I have sensitive ears, and so tuning hurts.

Well that was a lot of complaining, I do really love playing the Viola. I'm just a bit... Jumpy?

when the seniors leave it always sucks, and idk where u live but in my state the classes are based on school size instead of band size? im sure the freshmen will keep you a little more balanced though!

any contrabass clarinets? I started at clarinet, to bass clarinet, to contra-alto, and now to contrabass! in love with it tbh

I play piano, and I'm going to play the ukulele soon too when I get my ukulele for Christmas. I actually have my grade 3 piano exam tomorrow! Wish me luck!
