What is the difference between CS then... and CS now?

The same rant of, "Oh, CS just isn't what it used to be." has been flying around for the longest time... sooo, what exactly did this site used to be? Candy and sunshine and rainbows, before it was even made?
Please.
The website is the same as it was three years ago. People were still rude. People were still angry. You're just noticing it now. Nothing's changed except a more diverse variance of opinions, and if you can't handle that, then the internet just isn't for you. *shrug*

I've been here since late 2008, and I haven't seen much change since I joined. Those types of people have always been here. I don't know why it's suddenly a big deal now.


On a completely unrelated note, my birthday is on a Monday. The only reason this bugs me as much as it does is because the only friend who I want to see that day might be too busy with schoolwork.

I miss all the new phases on CS. The Hunger Games, Camp Half-Blood etc. And it takes me ages to catch up with what it's about. I only just finished reading the first Hunger Games book to find that there's squillions of new things to fixate on. Plus I still am confuzzled about the Warrior Cats stuff.

Yep. Football was worse than I thought it would be. Again I was with the girls since they're too scared to join in with the boys. Yet there was one other girl apart from me. She was lazy and annoying. All she did was walk around the edges of the football pitch, throwing the ball into the air and catching it. While I was jogging and practicing my dribbling skills. So because of her, I didn't have anything fun to do like tackle somebody. I had to shoot penalties at an empty goal. Know how boring that is? Very. Pfffft. The most exercise I got was running from the pitch to get to my friend who had just come from hockey.

Annoyance
My parents won't let me buy it because of the f-bomb. I'm so sick of them not letting me buy songs with cursing in them or watching movies with cursing. It's a part of everyday life. Get over it. I hear cursing every day at school. What's the difference?
