Every once in a while, I hide mine, mainly because I don't want trades. It really bugs my friends, though.

Man, same deal. I have trouble making even the simplest of decisions, so when I've got a lot of outstanding trades, I hide myself. I don't like people thinking I'm too stuck up to respond, or sending me PMs about it.
Hardly anyone here knows me, regardless.
