My goldfish know how to beg for food. xD

Their tank is in our kitchen, and we usually feed them when we eat breakfast and supper. So when they see us eating, they all crowd up in one corner of the tank, wriggling and flapping their mouths frantically. They only do this when we're eating, and when we don't eat at our regular time, they'll do it around the time that we usually eat.

And people say that goldfish only have 3-second memories... so how do these guys always remember when it's time to eat, day after day, year after year (most of them are at least 5 years old now, which is very old for a goldfish) ?
