My geometry teacher told us a story today.

He started with a story everyone knows. Thomas Jefferson sent Lewis and Clark to explore the Louisiana Purchase. On the way they met Sacagawea, who had a baby. According to him, the baby's name was Sohcahtoa.

He then added that Sacagawea must of loved geometry, because she knew that Sine equals Opposite over Hypotenuse, Cosine equals Adjacent over Hypotenuse, and Tangent equals Opposite over Adjacent.

Put the bold letters above together and you get Sohcahtoa.

I highly doubt that was really her baby's name, but it's a great story. xD

I just took a nap and am all groggy. Now I'm watching American Idol because someone I know is on there competing. Right now none of the contestants sound very good so far. Something tells me that the person I know will do well. I just feel so messed up right now, which is why I avoid naps. :lol:

I've got a thousand things to say
None of which will be said today
Some include the words "I love you"
Others include "I miss you"

I've got a thousand things to say
None of which will be said today
Because I'm too timid, too afraid,
But also because there's no one there to listen

Agreed, it's so true. o3o;
Oh, Florida.

Washington- richer hippies than in Oregon. Well, I guess that's about right, but he should've mentioned the freaking RAIN here. It's raining again.

Theoden wrote:Where now are the horse and the rider? Where is the horn that was blowing?
Where is the helm and the hauberk, and the bright hair flowing?
Where is the harp on the harpstring, and the red fire glowing?
Where is the spring and the harvest and the tall corn growing?
They have passed like rain on the mountain, like a wind in the meadow;
The days have gone down in the West behind the hills into shadow.
Who shall gather the smoke of the deadwood burning,
Or behold the flowing years from the Sea returning?
