You finished your yearbook before winter break? :what: How long is it? Does your staff have a lot of people, or do you just work fast?
We always finish sometime around March, although we'd probably get done earlier if we started before mid-October. We're moving faster than ever, though; all the juniors and seniors were enlisted to help, which doubled our staff.
I'm off school today. :) We had exams Friday, Monday, and Tuesday, and today's a teacher workday. I'm about to go bake a pie.
The only problem I have with my school is that they can't make up their mind, especially on finals exemption. First it was high school with an A, then nobody, then juniors with an A and seniors with a 90, now it's only seniors with an A. Since when is "you're not a senior" a valid reason for not rewarding hard work? I can put in half the effort of everyone else and get a high-B/low-A in every single class and still stay in NHS. The other honors students agree that there should be some kind of reward for doing twice as much work as everyone else; "an extra half-point to your GPA" is like nothing.
And what really ticks me off is that I can only rant about this because fourteen years ago, my dad had me put through K3 a second time because it's apparantly the worst thing ever to be a year younger than the rest of your class. Nevermind that I was capable of doing everything that they could. Nevermind that it could've saved them a couple thousand to let me go on.
