If you're wanting to bleach your hair:
1. Before you bleach your hair, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND researching a bunch beforehand. I didn't, and I ended up paying for it. Bleaching your hair is a bigger decision than I thought when I did it. I didn't regret it though! Anywho, these tutorials helped me A LOT:

Though I do think that a few of the steps you could adapt to fit your situation better. And this girl gets all of her supplies from Sally Beauty. Not everyone does. Like I couldn't get to all the beauty stores that everyone mentioned. Sally Beauty is where I go, it's cheap and good quality.(:

2. Guys, I know Hot Topic is awesome and everything... They have great clothing and apparel - But for your hairdye I recommend you go to a beauty store like Sally Beauty. They usually carry the same or many of the same hairdye brands that Hot Topic does for much cheaper.(; Sally carries Manic Panic, my personal favorite dye(:
