And i see everywhere words like ``rare`` etc.... what does it mean??

I suggest trying the Free Adoptions forum. It's great for new members (and sometimes older ones as well!). You can buy pets at the store, but they cost real money. The pets you can buy there can become quite rare and in-demand.

If a pet is rare, it means it's hard to get, and less users have them than, say, an uncommon. The rarity ranking goes like this:
Very common
Common
Uncommon
Rare
Very Rare
OMGSR! (OmgSoRare!)

The OMGSR is reserved only for the rarest pets on CS, like the Sunjewel (an '08 dog) and most of the UR's.
