{ I'd like to receive a few prayers; things have been a bit rocky with my family lately.

My dad is upset because he attempted to fix our plumbing system, but wasn't able to figure out the main problem. As a result, he accumulated a $500 water bill because the toilets were running 24/7 for three whole weeks. He's very concerned about money, and so he's freaking out a bit.

My mom is distressed due to the fact that she has a friend whose son took his life. Plus, when she went to the memorial service today to comfort her friend, she wasn't even there. She didn't even attend her own son's memorial service. I figure this must mean she's in a very vulnerable state. So my mom went to the service and she didn't know anybody else there and therefore couldn't really attempt to console the people she didn't know.

My sister is sad because she's possibly drifting apart from a friend she's had for a year and a half now. We'll call that friend...er...K. So K has become judgmental of a lot of things that my sister likes. She's also been spending a lot of time with another one of our friends (we'll call her G) and G and K get together without my sister and I sometimes. Even though they don't mean to hurt my sister's feelings, they do on occasion. I know my sister isn't fully the victim in this. But K has snubbed my sister and she knows it. I just hope that things don't get crazy or out of hand if they do fizzle out. I've had too many friendships that ended in fire and brimstone.

And at last, I'm worried because of school. I'm home-schooled, and therefore not accustomed to taking tests or answering academic questions under a timer. I can get a score that's comfortably above average. That's no problem. I've always been gifted and bright and different and the peacock of my social circle. The problem is that I can't answer all the questions in the allotted amount of time. If I had all the time in the world, I could do well...but the rate of which I'm answering questions is too slow. I'd only be done with half the questions if I went by their time, which means I'd most likely fail the test I'm going to take this year. I'm going to keep practicing getting faster. It's probably because I need to train my brain more...that and I've only taken one practice test so far. But I do need prayer...because the road always looks longer when you're only on the first mile to the destination.

Before you pray for me, pray for my family. Then pray for me if you have time. They're on my list of priorities before myself. Thank you everyone, and I will pray for any of your requests in return <3 }
