finally decided to bite the bullet & buy a nintendo gamecube from fb marketplace -- i've been thinking about finding a used one since january & i want to be able to play mario kart double dash with the squad in my apartment so it's finally happening!!! this is not a drill!! (now to wait for the package to ship & actually arrive lol)

today was my last day at work at the seasonal job i've had for three years.
i didn't actually go in today expecting it to be my last & i was expecting to work the rest of august but i'm so pleased it's over with. not gonna lie it wasn't the best job and it really put a strain on my mental and physical health at times (specifically this year), but my bosses spoke to me one on one and offered me a job next year if i haven't got one before then, told me i had done an outstanding job and that they'll miss me and asked me to comen in and say hello every now and again.
i was completely stealth as male there, for the first time in my life (bar two people who knew i'm trans but i've known them my whole life) and while that was extremely stressful, it also made me feel so much more sure that this is who i am and i can't wait for the day i don't have to struggle to pass anymore.
it just felt nice to be respected and valued as a part of something, especially when my bosses rarely expressed positive emotion or gratitude at all in my duration of time there.
i'll probably be there next year again, but it's given me a lot of experience and it's nice to be recognised for the work i've done for them. :')

I get free icecream today! By accident I stumbled upon a local event and the icecream truck nearby was giving free cones.. It was really nice since today is my birthday! Hehe

I had hives this morning so it started out rough but after watching TheDooo, playing Minecraft and hanging with my friends I ended up having quite a good day!

went to a con in diluc cosplay & had a lot of people ask to take pictures w me <3 it means a lot bc it was my first convention in cosplay, and it makes me really excited to go to more

i've been spending these final weeks of summer before my last year in undergrad in complete relaxation! so far, i've watched movies, gone hiking, played bananagrams, started reading the suzanne collins prequel book, baked apple crisp, run a few errands, & made baked chicken with rice & spinach. it's so enjoyable to engage in my hobbies in relative freedom! c:

today I got a new phone, a haircut, and (finally) a pencil case that will fit enough of my art supplies for making art on the go!

I was stressed out today, but I was scrolling through YouTube and saw an interview with the host of Takeshi’s Castle. Naturally I decided to watch it, because Takeshi’s Castle is better than maths.

My goodness, Hayato Tani seems like such an amazing, nice guy. He’s so sweet and charismatic, I adore him.

On that topic, I found a very special episode (of the show) that’s so neat and dear to my heart that I thought was deleted forever. I’m so happy I found it I feel like I can jump over Fujiyama!!!!!
