I didn't knew love that wasn't platonic existed so I thought marrying someone was just a friendship ritual and I couldn't understand why I wasn't allowed to say that I wanted to marry my uncle. (he was my best friend and coolest person ever to me)

edit: oh I also remember thinking that if you could aline the colors of your body/what you're wearing to your environment then no one could see you so I tried to do that all the time when I was playing hide and seek. Needless to say it didn't work. xDD
