When I was little, I was SUPER naive and gullible. One day, I brought a small plastic lizard to school and someone told me that if I put it in water, it would grow into a real living alligator. After that, I was really careful not to get it wet, and I freaked out when I accidentally dropped it into the sink when the faucet was running, lol.

Also when I was little, I used to think everyone in the world spoke English.

I used to think that any realistic looking dolls would come to life at night, because one of my friends told me a creepy story about them. I gave all of my dolls to my sister, but then I got scared because they stared at me from across the room. I've grown out of being so scared of them, but they're still pretty creepy.

when i was really young (maybe around grade 2) i went on excursion and there was a super long airbed thing you had to crawl on to reach the end and it was really bumpy for some reason?? like it would pop up and stuff and wobble idk how to describe it but i asked the lady there how they made it do that and she was like "there are people in there who use their arms to push it up" and idk she must've been really convincing or something (im pretty sure she like insisted it was actual people) and maybe she didnt expect me to take it seriously?? bc i started straight up crying bc man... people trapped in an airbed...forced to push it up forever...that's messed
